Fare Guide
Toll, Permit & Parking Charges
Know what is in your fare and what is paid at actuals
1. Which fare did you choose?
At booking you pick one of two fare types. Your confirmation message and e-mail always state which one applies.
- Excludes Toll & Tax (base fare): distance fare plus driver bata. Highway tolls, inter-state permit/border tax, parking and entry fees are paid by the customer at actuals.
- Includes Toll & Tax (inclusive fare): the quoted fare already covers highway tolls and inter-state permits on the booked route. Parking and entry fees are still extra.
2. Toll gates
- On a base fare, the driver pays each toll on the way and you reimburse the exact amount; ask the driver for the toll receipt/FASTag record.
- Tolls for detours, extra stops or route changes you request are not part of an inclusive fare.
3. Inter-state permit / border tax
Crossing a state border (for example Tamil Nadu ↔ Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh or Puducherry) attracts a permit/border tax set by the destination state and varies by vehicle type. It is paid at the border check-post or included, depending on the fare type above.
4. Parking, entry and green fees
Parking at airports, hotels, temples and tourist places, and vehicle entry or green fees at hill stations and sanctuaries, are always paid by the customer at actuals.
